How can peer networks make a difference in the battle against NCDs?

In May 2018, Jordan Jarvis gave a TEDx talk at the TEDxGoodenoughCollege event. Jordan is a DrPH student at LSHTM and the former Executive Director of the Young Professionals Chronic Disease Network, which brings together 5,000 young professionals across 160 countries to help shape global and local policy, develp leaders and catalyze change to improve access to essential treatment for and prevention of chronic diseases among the world’s poorest. At her TEDx talk, Jordan stressed the importance of networks and peer support and urged the audience to share their knowhow and skills in order to create a more equal and just world.
